{"id":324807,"date":"2024-01-03T09:53:53","date_gmt":"2024-01-03T08:53:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=324807"},"modified":"2024-01-03T09:53:53","modified_gmt":"2024-01-03T08:53:53","slug":"researcher-from-wroclaw-university-of-life-sciences-to-conquer-the-cosmetics-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/researcher-from-wroclaw-university-of-life-sciences-to-conquer-the-cosmetics-market\/","title":{"rendered":"Researcher from Wroc\u0142aw University of Life Sciences to conquer the cosmetics market\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr Agnieszka Krawczyk-\u0141ebek from the Department of Food Chemistry and Biocatalysis at Wroc\u0142aw University of Life Sciences wants to develop a method for obtaining a multifunctional preservative for the cosmetics industry &#8211; an alternative to, among others, artificial preservatives not accepted by consumers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;The project aims to develop a method for obtaining a new cosmetic raw material acting as a multifunctional preservative as an alternative to, among others, unacceptable artificial preservatives and potentially allergenic active substances in cosmetics (e.g. antioxidant BHT)&#8221;, says the researcher.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For her project &#8216;Chlorine atom flavonoid glycosides as multifunctional natural preservatives in cosmetic formulations&#8217;, the researcher won almost PLN 1.8 million from the National Centre for Research and Development.
