She was recognised for her dissertation, which focused on the design of foods with targeted health-promoting potential.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The laureate conducted the first comprehensive research on the composition of hydrophilic and lipophilic bioactive compounds of sea buckthorn berries, shoots, leaves and juice.
