They have received a grant of more than PLN 1.8 million for their research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The funding derives from the Sheng competition for Polish-Chinese research projects organised by the National Science Centre in cooperation with the Chinese agency National Natural Science Foundation of China.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project plans to obtain lanthanide ion-doped nanomaterials on the basis of sodium yttrium fluoride, and to study changes in the luminescence lifetimes of lanthanide ions embedded in the matrix in the presence of water in the immediate environment.
