The aim of the consortium members is to build a non-invasive system for monitoring the health and wellbeing of older people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Poland is represented in the project by the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Centre and the medvc.eu company. Their work focuses on creating a video conferencing application for emergency situations. Using data from various sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms, the platform is able to detect situations in which an elderly person may find themselves.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The app allows the use of different devices &#8211; computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone, while ensuring security and privacy so that only designated people and only in emergency situations can connect with the elderly person&#8217;s home.
