The \u20ac10 million project is co-financed under the first grant programme for the construction of a network of Security Operations Centres (SOC) in the European Union.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to AGH, the development of the individual centres will lead to more effective monitoring, detection and response to cyber attacks, thus helping to protect the personal data of students, staff and researchers, intellectual property rights and key technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The international SOCCER consortium from five EU countries includes, in addition to AGH, which is the leader, also Jagiellonian University, Agricultural University of Krakow, Tomas Bata University, Masaryk University and CESNET from the Czech Republic, Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University from Slovakia, Mykolo Romerio Universitetas from Lithuania, Tartu University from Estonia.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow is launching the SOCCER project with EU funding.
