The competition is organised by the Ministry of Climate and Environment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The winner is the author and co-author of dozens of scientific articles published in prestigious journals. The publications deal with current problems related to the crisis and protection of the biodiversity of ice and snow ecosystems, pollutants deposited and released from glaciers, the study of polar ecosystems or the effects of climate change.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;I am very pleased that it is research on cryosphere biodiversity and conservation that has been recognised in this competition.
