A mixture of melliferous plants consisting of red clover, blue phacelia and nigella has been sown there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under the direction of the scientists, one of the sustainable agriculture schemes &#8211; areas with melliferous plants &#8211; is being implemented on agricultural land owned by the university. This is a type of intervention in the form of direct payments, under which the Slupsk university will receive additional payments for implementing practices beneficial to the environment and climate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The area on which the melliferous plants have been sown provides long-lasting, diverse and safe foraging grounds for honey bees and wild pollinating insects.
