The University of Bialystok (UwB) has prepared a film database of its experts – a series of films under the common title “What am I doing here?” Recordings and descriptions of the research interests of 40 scientists are already ready, but there will be more to come.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The aim of the project is to showcase UwB’s expert potential and to make it easier for entities looking for experts to establish cooperation, which will contribute to even better knowledge transfer to the University’s environment. The database was created thanks to funding from the Ministry of Education and Science as part of the ‘Social Responsibility of Science’ programme.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to UwB spokeswoman Katarzyna Dziedzik, the project’s initiator, the idea is to use this potential even better, and the database is intended to make it easier for interested parties to find the expert they need.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So far, 40 experts have been included in the database, because that is how many we had funds for in the project. But of course, there are many more scientists with vast knowledge that can be used in cooperation with the media, business, institutional or social partners at the University of Bia\u0142ystok, so we will gradually expand the database,’ declares Katarzyna Dziedzik.<\/span><\/p>\n
