Kalaji from the Institute of Biology at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), is working on the development of a biological feedback system that allows early identification of mineral deficiencies in plants.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SGGW stresses that this is a real revolution in agriculture and horticulture. The advantage of this system over other similar systems is that the signals received indicate the mineral requirements of plants long before these deficiencies become visible to the naked eye.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to advances in research techniques and the ability to make non-invasive measurements, such as chlorophyll fluorescence signals, we can obtain huge amounts of data from plants. Providing information about the health and physiological state of plants, this data is extremely valuable for tools using artificial intelligence and machine learning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The system for diagnosing mineral deficiencies in crop plants can be installed permanently, e.g. in greenhouses, or mounted on mobile devices and machines.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prof. Hazem M.
