In the initiative, five people from the four alliance universities shared their scientific passions. Second place in the competition was awarded to Dr Ewa Wyl\u0119\u017cek from the University of Silesia in Katowice with her presentation &#8220;Heimat, Hajmat, Homeland &#8211; how do minorities communicate?&#8221;.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Science Slam is a unique science communication format in which researchers present their work in a light-hearted format, in a way that can be understood by a wide audience.
