The LEM Tachyon, the latest electric road motorbike, is faster, more manoeuvrable and with a more efficient battery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Structurally, it is a completely different vehicle with new solutions. Among other things, there are new load-bearing composite components in the form of a subframe, saving almost 3 kg on the weight of the motorbike and gaining additional space. The Tachyon also features a completely new drivetrain and the engine has liquid cooling for even better performance&#8221;, says Piotr Minta, LEM Tachyon project leader.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the heart of the motorbike is a lithium-ion battery, constructed by students from Wroc\u0142aw. The battery allows 9kWh of energy to be stored, which translates into a range of around 40km on the track.
