The Society of Wroc\u0142aw Lovers honoured her for her medical and literary activities for the city.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr Marta Kucharska is an infectious disease specialist and hepatologist. For many years, she has been professionally connected with the J. Gromkowski Provincial Specialist Hospital in Wroc\u0142aw (currently employed as a senior assistant), and additionally involved in the work of infectious disease and hepatology outpatient clinics in Boles\u0142awiec, Lw\u00f3wek \u015al\u0105ski and Jelenia G\u00f3ra.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In her free time, she develops her other passions, which are poetry and literature. She is the author of three collections of short stories: &#8220;Detour Cinema&#8221; (2012) &#8220;Saudade&#8221; (2016), &#8220;Irga fed by the avalanche&#8221; (Wroc\u0142aw 2019), the volume of poems &#8220;Abyssinia&#8221; (2014) and the novel &#8220;Blackthorn&#8221;, published in November 2022.
