The building will be almost zero-energy and will implement the principles of sustainable construction. The chief designer of the New Rectorate is Dr Eng. Slawomir Rosolski, a Professor of the Poznan university.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The building will have 5966 m2 of floor space and will be built on a 36.74 m for 36.74 m square plan. It will be a five-storey building (one underground and four above ground) in the form of a glass cuboid with stone fa\u00e7ade pilasters. Offices, meeting rooms and social areas are planned for the above-ground floors. The top floor of the building will house the offices of the university authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The material of the glass fa\u00e7ade will emphasise the modern character of the Poznan University of Technology, while the use of stone will refer to its rich history and tradition.
