It will be a separate unit (independent of departments, faculties or clinics), supporting all scientists and clinicians at the university in conducting advanced research.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;It is an investment from the university&#8217;s own funds, of fundamental importance to all of us, and is part of the UMW strategy&#8221;, says UMW rector Professor Piotr Ponikowski.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The cost of equipping the centre with the necessary apparatus is nearly PLN 16 million. It will be the best equipment in the world, serving both science and diagnostics. The centre is intended to support other UMW units.
