{"id":299517,"date":"2023-08-14T16:48:26","date_gmt":"2023-08-14T14:48:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=299517"},"modified":"2023-08-14T16:48:26","modified_gmt":"2023-08-14T14:48:26","slug":"in-september-gdansk-to-host-the-48th-congress-of-polish-physicists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/in-september-gdansk-to-host-the-48th-congress-of-polish-physicists\/","title":{"rendered":"In September, Gdansk to host the 48th Congress of Polish Physicists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Gdansk branch of the Polish Physical Society, the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics of the Gdansk University of Technology and the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science of the University of Gdansk are inviting participants from September 1st to 7th to Gdansk for the 48th Congress of Polish Physicists (ZFP).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the Congress, there will be eight two-hour plenary sessions, nine two-hour parallel sessions, an open lecture, a poster session, the PTF Delegates&#8217; Meeting, a panel discussion on &#8220;The condition of physics teaching in Polish schools &#8211; opportunities and risks&#8221;, physics demonstrations and a good practice bazaar for physics teachers, lectures and demonstrations of physics experiments for schoolchildren.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Congress of Polish Physicists is the oldest cyclical conference integrating the community of Polish physicists. The first one was held in April 1923 in Warsaw.
