Sebastian Kawalec and Micha\u0142 W\u0105sik developed the best concept in the jury&#8217;s opinion for the revitalisation of Barcelona&#8217;s Ciutat Meridiana district.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The proposals submitted to the competition had to address areas related to the multifunctional use of space with solutions to stimulate the local economy, generate local employment and better integrate the community, the neighbourhood and the Collserola Natural Park with the rest of the city.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the jury, the winning project focuses on reclaiming the old aqueduct as an important part of the neighbourhood&#8217;s identity, linking it to the railway station and the rest of the city through a pedestrian walkway and a green corridor.
