{"id":297117,"date":"2023-08-01T14:07:59","date_gmt":"2023-08-01T12:07:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=297117"},"modified":"2023-08-01T14:07:59","modified_gmt":"2023-08-01T12:07:59","slug":"warsaw-university-of-technology-student-wins-air-institute-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/warsaw-university-of-technology-student-wins-air-institute-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Warsaw University of Technology student wins AIR Institute competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zofia Wrona, a student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Sciences at the Warsaw University of Technology, has won second prize in the AIR Institute competition for her presentation of the &#8216;Extended Green Cloud Simulator&#8217; project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the winner explains, the Extended Green Cloud Simulator is a multi-agent system acting as a digital twin of the cloud infrastructure proposed in CloudFerro&#8217;s research project, which allows for the simulation of distributed cloud infrastructures whose servers use, among other things, renewable energy sources.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The presentation of the system took place at the International Conference on Practical applications of Agents and Multi-Agent System (PAAMS), focusing on practical applications of agents and multi-agent systems.
