Combined support will be provided to 16 entities, reports the Ministry of Education and Science.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Increases in the amount of subsidies for maintenance and development of research potential were granted to 14 scientific institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and 2 research institutes in connection with running doctoral schools independently or jointly with another entity &#8211; as a leading entity. This is intended to support the education of doctoral students in doctoral schools run by the indicated entities in the first years of operation of these schools.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The amount of funding for individual entities was set in proportion to the number of doctoral students in doctoral schools.
