The jury awarded the interior design of a sauna for wheelchair users.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The author, Paula Smolka, designed a sauna equipment system that aims to enable wheelchair users to use the sauna independently and safely, without excluding non-disabled people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The proposed solution consists of several elements: seat, door, handle, headrest. These have been developed in response to predefined user needs. The strength of the design is the modularity of the solution, which allows it to be adapted to different spaces.
