The final of the competition took place at the Stapleford Miniature Railway in England.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the competition involves designing and manufacturing a locomotive for a 10 \u00bc inch track and competing on the track in a dozen competitions. The Poznan students&#8217; locomotive stood out for its reliability, design and the innovation used &#8211; photovoltaic panels on the locomotive&#8217;s roof.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PUTrain team took first places in two competitions: reliability and replacing the locomotive&#8217;s power source, setting a record for the speed of completing the task.
