It will allow deaf people to know that such a vehicle is heading towards them. The project has gained the interest of the community and also won the national Engineer 4 Science 2023 competition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The device is similar to a wristwatch. Its purpose is to stimulate the skin when the sound of a priority vehicle is recognised. In addition, each beep is coupled with a different vibration characteristic. This is a solution for deaf or hard-of-hearing people who walk or drive around town.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The solution by a student from the Opole University of Technology has already attracted the interest of the deaf community.
