{"id":291443,"date":"2023-06-30T09:01:04","date_gmt":"2023-06-30T07:01:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=291443"},"modified":"2023-06-30T09:01:04","modified_gmt":"2023-06-30T07:01:04","slug":"centre-for-geospatial-analysis-and-satellite-comupting-opened","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/centre-for-geospatial-analysis-and-satellite-comupting-opened\/","title":{"rendered":"Centre for Geospatial Analysis and Satellite Comupting opened\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A state-of-the-art infrastructure with a computing centre and a number of specialised laboratories has been created on the premises of the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) in Warsaw and at the Science and Teaching Centre in J\u00f3zefos\u0142aw.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Centre for Geospatial Analysis and Satellite Computing (CENAGIS) is an infrastructure for research purposes consisting of two main parts: IT and stationary laboratories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The IT base is made up of a computing centre mainly for processing terrain information. This part has two locations: PW Main Building and the centre in J\u00f3zefos\u0142aw.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The stationary laboratories are located in J\u00f3zefos\u0142aw. Available there are a laboratory for testing laser scanners and digital cameras, laboratories for testing navigation and location applications (including a VR\/AR laboratory), laboratories for GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) analysis and a gravimetric laboratory (for gravity acceleration measurements).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">J\u00f3zefos\u0142aw also hosts infrastructure related to permanent GNSS satellite observations (measuring station included in international research programmes).<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A state-of-the-art infrastructure with a computing centre and a number of specialised laboratories has been created on the premises of the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) in Warsaw and at the Science and Teaching Centre in J\u00f3zefos\u0142aw.
