Only six people from Poland received these scholarships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) has been in existence since 1955. It works for the development of optics and photonics by supporting thematic conferences and publications, as well as facilitating contacts between engineers, scientists, students and company representatives. Over the past five years, SPIE has contributed more than $22 million to these causes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The laureate is a graduate of the Faculty of Fundamental Technological Problems.
