The money for the project (almost PLN 1.3 million) is provided by a grant from the National Science Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In her scientific work, the laureate studies the determinants of olfactory abilities and the possibilities of olfactory rehabilitation. As part of the funding she will verify the assumption that the olfactory development of pre-school children is linked to their cognitive and emotional development.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof. Oleszkiewicz is also the recipient of a START grant from the Foundation for Polish Science, a scholarship for outstanding young scientists, an award from the German Otorhinolaryngology Society and the 30 Creative Wroclaw award.
