At the competition in Sarasota, Florida, they came 9th overall and won a special award from the judges for the most foresighted action planning and team management.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the international RoboBoat competition, teams from around the world design autonomous robotic boats to navigate a challenging course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The SV student-built Perkoz, an autonomous surface vehicle, was developed as part of the SeaSentinel project. The drone is a platform for a task module capable of detecting water pollution. Most of the hull was made from PET-G by 3D printing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students from SimLE are planning to participate in the next RoboBoat competition, which will take place in 2024.
