This year&#8217;s ranking identified the top 2,000 universities from around the world and assessed 2,531 research centres and institutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Global 2000 list has been published since 2012 by the Centre for World University Rankings (CWUR), based in the United Arab Emirates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CWUR prepares the ranking on the basis of four criteria, without relying on surveys or data submitted by universities.
