{"id":285291,"date":"2023-05-26T13:59:27","date_gmt":"2023-05-26T11:59:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=285291"},"modified":"2023-05-26T13:59:27","modified_gmt":"2023-05-26T11:59:27","slug":"minister-czarnek-opens-the-seventh-nawa-polish-returns-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/minister-czarnek-opens-the-seventh-nawa-polish-returns-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"Minister Czarnek opens the seventh NAWA Polish Returns programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Minister of Education and Science, Prof. Przemys\u0142aw Czarnek, together with the Director of the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), Dawid Kostecki, opened the call for applications for the seventh edition of NAWA&#8217;s flagship programme Polish Returns at the Polish Institute in Rome.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beginning in 2018, the programme supports scientists with Polish citizenship and outstanding scientific achievements who wish to return to Poland after years of scientific work abroad. The call for applications in 2023 will run until 31 July.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During a meeting at the Polish Institute in Rome, NAWA director Dr Dawid Kostecki conveyed that the largest number of people have so far returned from the UK, the US and Germany. He stressed that the Polish Returns programme provides &#8220;an opportunity to attract intellectual capital to Poland&#8221;.
