He was recognised in the Future of Medicine Award category for his commitment to creating a system for the prevention and treatment of obesity in the youngest.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The laureate is a specialist in paediatrics and paediatric gastroenterology. He is the creator and implementer of health programmes and policies for local authorities and state administration units. He was the co-author and coordinator of the 6-10-14 for Health programme, the first coordinated project in Poland for the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;The Golden OTIS is an award given on the initiative of a group of distinguished experts who shape the health care system in Poland.
