This is a brand new centre, unique in the country that will serve clinical, teaching and scientific purposes. It is being built at the University Clinical Hospital and will house cutting-edge technologies in the surgical treatment of cancer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The heart of the UCCR is the da Vinci Xi robotic system along with an operating table synchronised with it. The components of the system are a robotic platform with four working arms, a surgical console and a vision track.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The robotic room will be equipped with a multimedia system that allows live streaming of the operations in progress and two-way contact between the operating team and the audience, the trainees. The first operation at UCCR assisted by the da Vinci robot is scheduled for July this year.
