The area has been planted with a specially selected mixture of 50 species of grasses and other meadow plants, which will provide a picturesque landscape and valuable habitat for a variety of animal and insect species. The meadow is being created under the guidance of scientists from the Department of Meadow Science and Natural Landscape.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The symbolic sowing was carried out by Rectors Prof. Krzysztof Szoszkiewicz and Prof. Piotr Goli\u0144ski, and Chancellors Robert Fabia\u0144ski and Jaros\u0142aw Sierszchulski.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Flower meadows aim to improve the quality of life of society by providing visually attractive spaces and valuable natural functions. Their establishment is a form of promoting biodiversity and providing many ecosystem services.
