They now face the final in Portugal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The competition task was to develop a proposal for the revitalisation of a plot of land at the Boavista Landfill Site in Lisbon. It belongs to the city council and is used as the headquarters for municipal services, with a public and cultural purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In their design, the competition winners focused on attracting users and leading them through the greenery &#8211; which is so lacking in cities &#8211; to culture, namely the Lisbon audiovisual centre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They created a concept for a seven-storey building with units set at a slant to the building line. In addition to flats, they planned a workshop, a restaurant, a caf\u00e9 and a gallery.
