The complex, at the heart of which is a complex of specialised server rooms, is one of the most modern IT centres in this part of Europe. The total cost of the investment is almost a quarter of a billion PLN.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Kraken PG supercomputer has been hidden underground, on the slope of Mount Szubieniczna in Gda\u0144sk Wrzeszcz and the edge of the university&#8217;s campus. The complex is made up of two blocks, which include work spaces for scientists and engineers, a conference room and numerous technical rooms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Later this year, Kraken will become one of the most powerful supercomputers in this part of the continent.
