Reconstruction will be a huge challenge requiring not only huge financial resources, but also appropriate guidelines to bring the cities&#8217; infrastructure up to modern social and environmental standards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Researchers from PWr met with, among others, representatives of the Ukrainian parliament on this issue. Representatives of Ukraine&#8217;s Verkhovna Rada declared that the Wroc\u0142aw University would become the central hub linking the scientific communities of Poland and Ukraine in designing the reconstruction of destroyed cities and their infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scope of work will include urban planning, water intake design, underground infrastructure, energy-efficient construction, communications, energy and electromobility.
