The investment is possible thanks to the participation in the Brodziec &#8211; Adaptation to Climate Change programme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The total capacity of the renewable energy sources will be 449 kW. Annual electricity production is estimated to be around 380 MWh. The energy will be used for the University&#8217;s own needs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The investment is of economic and ecological importance. The University will pay less for electricity and annual emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere will be reduced by 270 tonnes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Brodziec &#8211; Adaptation to Climate Change programme is a pilot action of the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Gda\u0144sk.
