Conquerors of the polar world&#8217;, which was published in 2021 will be available soon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The film &#8216;Polar Women&#8217; takes a closer look at hitherto untold stories of Polish female pioneers of polar research in the Arctic and Antarctic. The heroines include expedition leaders and researchers with major achievements.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The documentary, whose title in the English version is &#8216;Ant\/Arctic Women&#8217;, has five extraordinary heroines including biotechnologist Anna Ko\u0142akowska, chemist Wies\u0142awa Krawczyk, ecologist Anna Krzyszowska Waitkus, lichenologist Maria Agata Olech and hydrologist Joanna Pociask-Karteczka.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The director of the film is Kuba Witek, author of documentaries about the countries of the North. The music was composed by \u0141ukasz Palkiewicz.
