{"id":275120,"date":"2023-03-31T10:58:21","date_gmt":"2023-03-31T08:58:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=275120"},"modified":"2023-03-31T10:58:21","modified_gmt":"2023-03-31T08:58:21","slug":"university-of-poznan-medical-university-researcher-wins-ehlers-danlos-society-grant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/university-of-poznan-medical-university-researcher-wins-ehlers-danlos-society-grant\/","title":{"rendered":"University of Poznan Medical University researcher wins Ehlers-Danlos Society grant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr Marta Jokiel, MD, head of the Laboratory of Orthopaedics, Traumatology and Physiotherapy of the Musculoskeletal System in Rare Diseases at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, has received a prestigious research grant awarded by the global organisation Ehlers-Danlos Society.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The activities of the Poznan laboratory focus on supporting patients with rare diseases and their families in the process of diagnosis and treatment, as well as on inter-centre cooperation aimed at providing patients with comprehensive care and expanding knowledge of rare disease issues in the national and international arena.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grant was awarded for the research &#8216;Understanding biomechanics of atraumatic shoulder pain and instability in EDS and HSD&#8217;.
