Thanks to the grant from the Polish Returns competition, the scientist will begin research at the Department of Field Theory, Electronic Systems and Optoelectronics at Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr Kowalczyk will work on the project &#8216;Ultrastable single-cycle mid-infrared laser sources&#8217;. The researcher is returning to Wroc\u0142aw University, where he presented his PhD thesis in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For years, the NAWA Polish Returns competition has enabled outstanding Polish scientists to return to Poland and work at Polish universities and research institutes.
