The work was conducted by the independent research group Programa de Investigaci\u00f3n &#8216;Los valles de Barranca&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The archaeologists studied the remains of temples and cemeteries located on the Cerro Colorado hill near the town of Barranca.
