The competition aims to encourage young engineers to undertake ambitious theses and get them interested in topics that are useful to the country&#8217;s economy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aneta Nycz, a graduate of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering and currently a PhD student at the Doctoral School, dealt in her thesis with a topic related to one type of water turbine, i.e. machines used to extract mechanical energy from water energy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Karolina Zofia D\u0105browska is a graduate of mechanical engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, currently a student of chemistry and materials engineering.
