Since its establishment in 2000 by UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, it has been working for the environment, human rights, anti-corruption and decent and legal work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants pledge to responsibly align their strategies and actions with the Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take strategic action to achieve broader social goals such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with an emphasis on cooperation and innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The UNGC currently has more than 16,000 members from around the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Collegium Civitas has been officially approved as a participant in the UN Global Compact (UNGC), a network of organisations committed to adopting sustainable and socially responsible policies.
