The funds were obtained as part of the program International Research Agendas, organized by the Foundation for Science.<\/p>\n<p>The director of the new International Center for the Theory of Quantum Technology is Prof. Marek \u017bukowski, current director of the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics of the University of Gda\u0144sk. He is the author or co-author of over 150 scientific papers.
