{"id":270444,"date":"2023-03-03T18:16:24","date_gmt":"2023-03-03T17:16:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=270444"},"modified":"2023-03-03T18:16:24","modified_gmt":"2023-03-03T17:16:24","slug":"polish-archaeologists-to-revitalise-mosque-in-sudan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/polish-archaeologists-to-revitalise-mosque-in-sudan\/","title":{"rendered":"Polish archaeologists to revitalise mosque in Sudan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Centre for Mediterranean Archaeology at the University of Warsaw (CA\u015a UW) is embarking on a new cultural heritage conservation project &#8216;Baraka: Revitalisation of the oldest surviving mosque in Old Dongola&#8217; funded by the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Areas at Risk of Conflict (ALIPH).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Old Dongola Mosque is the oldest surviving building of its kind in Sudan.
