If the research is successful, a company will start producing such slabs in a few months&#8217; time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Laboratory work includes measuring the bending tensile strength, determining the energy absorption capacity of fibre-reinforced slab specimens, compressive strength testing of test specimens, splitting tensile strength testing of test specimens, measuring the density of concrete and determining the secant modulus of elasticity in compression.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The final result will be a design methodology for fibre concrete slabs produced from steel cord from car tyres.
