Martyna Winnik, a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology, for her thesis &#8216;Manufacturing and characterisation of polymeric thermoplastic nanocomposites&#8217;. The winner received a cash prize of PLN 5,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Competition Council also decided to award two distinctions to the thesis by Kingia Kru\u017cel from the Krak\u00f3w University of Technology, &#8216;Evaluation of the effect of conditioning on the structure and properties of biopolyamide nanocellulose nanocomposites&#8217; and Julia R\u017cewska from the Warsaw University of Technology, &#8216;Optimisation of poly(glycerine citraconate) production&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first competition for the best graduation thesis in the field of plastics was organised by PZPTS in 2016.
