The square meter of peatland receives annually about 1 kg of carbon dioxide &#8211; recalls the communication of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Research conducted at this university has shown a comprehensive, beneficial effect of peatlands on the condition and balance of the natural environment.<\/p>\n<p>Peatlands are not worth drying them up.
