The main directions of her research concern immuno-oncology, tumour biology, the effect of hypoxia on tumour cell growth, therapy of solid tumours, and the search for prognostic and predictive indicators of triple negative breast cancer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof Kr\u00f3l is a past recipient of a Pfizer Animal Health fellowship, a L&#8217;Oreal postdoctoral fellowship and a Unesco Prize for Women, as well as awards from the Polish Society of Veterinary Sciences.
