They will collaborate with partners from the Brandenburg Technical University in Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr Grzegorz Ziolkowski from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering will be the Polish coordinator of the project &#8216;Application of functional high-resolution computed tomography in numerical simulations and mechanical testing of incrementally manufactured aluminium alloys&#8217;. The research will take two years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second supported project is &#8216;Research on key properties of oxide thin-film semiconductors for gas detection applications&#8217;. It is headed by Prof Jaros\u0142aw Domaradzki from the Thin Film Technologies Team at the Faculty of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems.
