Her idea to activate patients with dementia was appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>The Queen Silvia Nursing Award is a scholarship aimed at nursing students and individuals in the process of specialising in nursing. The aim is to encourage them to seek innovative ideas that can help solve the most pressing health problems of Polish society.<\/p>\n<p>Dominika works as a nurse at the University Hospital in Krak\u00f3w on a day-to-day basis and is also studying MA nursing. Her project &#8220;Rediscover the world&#8221; aims to activate patients with dementia. The idea is to create polysensory panels that can be mounted on patients&#8217; beds in the hospital.
