The project&#8217;s leader is the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Sopot.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Electronic Centre for Oceanographic Data Sharing (eCUDO) encompasses a comprehensive description of the marine environment of the Baltic Sea and other areas including the seabed, atmosphere and coastal zone. Information on research results, including survey data, covers various scientific disciplines, such as physics, chemistry, biology, meteorology, climatology and geology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The system was developed at the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. This facility currently has around four million digitised data available for potential users, which occupies around five hundred terabytes.
