The solution is designed to help heal chronic wounds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SmartHEAL is a smart pH sensor integrated into a wound dressing. By monitoring the pH values, it can assess the condition of the wound and detect infection without removing the dressing and therefore without disturbing the tissue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The developers of the solution: Tomasz Raczy\u0144ski, Piotr Walter, and Dominik Baraniecki- graduates of the Faculty of Mechatronics and currently doctoral students at the Warsaw University of Technology. They have already developed a sensor and confirmed its operation in laboratory conditions.
